Overview
While the specific lodges and cabins we use may vary season to season, one thing remains constant — helicopter access to fully catered, remote backcountry huts is always part of the experience. ⚠️ HELICOPTER DISCLAIMER: These trips use helicopters for both access in and egress out. Weather can affect flight possibilities — an extra day or two in the lodge is unlikely but possible. Plan your travel accordingly and do not book tight connections on your fly-out day. --- SNOWFALL LODGE — Deep Powder in the Selkirks January 2–9, 2027 Built in 2017, Snowfall Lodge is a modern backcountry hut perched on the edge of the Battle Range in BC's legendary Selkirk Mountains — just south of Rogers Pass and east of Revelstoke. Staging begins near Beaton, BC, approx. 30 miles south of Revelstoke. From there, we fly into a remote zone defined by towering peaks, expansive glaciers, long tree runs, and famously deep powder. The lodge is a bright, spacious three-story building constructed with lumber milled on site. Double-occupancy rooms, woodstove, heated boot room, large stretching area, sauna, shower room, and a fully catered kitchen. A dedicated drying room with forced-air boot and glove dryers ensures your gear is ready every morning. All meals and snacks included (bring your own alcohol). We operate in low-ratio groups for more fresh tracks, more space, and a better overall experience. Limited to 17 guests. --- ICEFALL HUT — The Canadian Rockies January 22–30, 2027 (fly in Jan 22 · back in Calgary Jan 30, weather permitting) Icefall Lodge sits in one of the most dramatic ski touring zones in the Canadian Rockies. We fly in on January 22nd, giving us a full week of ski touring from the hut before flying out on January 30th, returning to Calgary weather permitting. From the hut, you can access massive alpine terrain — big summits, long glaciated runs, tree skiing on storm days, and lines with over 6,500 feet of vertical drop. This is a small-group experience designed for strong intermediate to advanced backcountry skiers who want genuine alpine immersion. --- BOTH TRIPS INCLUDE: Professional IFMGA/AMGA guiding · Helicopter access in and out · Catered lodge accommodation · Glacier travel equipment · All in-lodge meals and snacks NOT INCLUDED: Pre-trip lodging and meals · Alcoholic beverages · Staff gratuities
