Alpine Climbing is the mixed art of climbing to the summit of a mountain, often by technical means. Alpine Climbing can include rock climbing, scrambling, ice climbing, and glacier travel. For many alpine climbing is the culmination and pinnacle of climbing.

Mont Blanc has established it as a classic must-do climb, at the top of many mountaineers tic lists.
So often we are asked, “I want a week long Alps classic… a little snow, a little rock, huts, trams… get an idea of the whole area and have a great adventure; what’s possible?” – Absolutely!
Of the Seven Summits, Kilimanjaro is the least difficult to climb. However, at over 19,000ft high, it is still a tough ascent and trekkers will need to be in good physical condition.

Mount Kenya’s highest summits can only be reached by technical means.
This trek has “everything.” The trekkers can get very close to the Tibetan border on this trek, when we cross the Renjo La Pass for the finest view of the whole massif including Cho Oyu, Lho La, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Pumori & Hinku valley with Makalu. This is an ideal trek for those wishing to travel off the beaten path with less tourist yet also have an interest in the local traditions and culture.
Winslow Passey and Todd Passey will be guest guiding this summer up in the Tetons with Exum Mountain Guides. So permits are available in the Tetons and surrounding peaks and in the Wind River Range.
